Well this changes things, doesn't it?
I know, I know, I know, and I know. So much for returning to the blogging world, huh? Well I actually haven't been home for a good enough amount of time to be able to (Saturday's always an exception.. I dislike Saturdays), and thus I'm sorry for the absence of blog despite my supposedly triumphant return. So therefore I shall update you on the tidbits and the funbits of what's been happening since Wednesday...
Thursday:
WELL, it was school as usual... but with a twist! Firstly, a Methods SAC I dare not talk about... LOL ): ... on another note, I found myself wound up after school, helping out with the Senior School Arts Extravaganza Night... and golly, wasn't that grand? Note to everyone though: do NOT ask me to be a waitress, in particular if you want me to serve a sushi canape...
Having partnered with a stranger prior to today, we went around offering a delectable sushi canape for parents eagerly awaiting their child's performance up on stage later on. All was nice and courteous, although the few hurdles came about, and I pretty much ran straight into them and ended up in a frivolously muddled heap; unhurt, but extremely embarrassed.
Me: Would you like some sushi?
Lady: Oh, well why not?
Me: You could try it with some wasabi, too!
Lady: And which one's that one?
Me: It's that one. *points to the green blob*
Lady: *to herself* I thought it was pink...
Me: Ginger's pink.
Lady: Oh, that's right. I'm stupid.
*walk away...*
DEAR GOD, I REALLY SHOULDN'T HAVE SAID THAT, SHOULD I? Things among those lines happened throughout the course of the night, until I plopped myself beside one of my best friends inside the dinner hall and purposely shut myself up so that I could enjoy the remainder of the performances.
What an embarrassing day...
Friday:
Well, after spending about 9 hours at home after the night before, off to school I was again. And well, long story short, it was a long day. Then happened deb practice, and well, let's just not talk about it, okay? It's one of those things that I'd prefer not to be reminded of. You could say it wasn't the best time in the world.
Youth group was grand fun though. My American buddy and I rock! :D
Saturday:
DEB DRESSES! Woot! Kathy and I are pumped and ready and beautiful (;
Sunday:
NEW STAGE! AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Yes, another long Sunday.
What a great evening.
Praise the LORD.
Mmm..... I am like a child holding the hand of a father who is guiding me down a road, surrounded by, at times, the most beautiful of environments, and at others, the most horrific scenes I've ever experienced.
It's my life story.
LOL, Sarah.
